International Journal of Electrical Energy and Control Systems (IJEECOS) welcomes conference-related submissions and collaborations to promote high-quality research dissemination in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Energy, Power & Renewable Energy Systems, Power Electronics, Electrical Drives, EV/Charging, Smart Grids, and Control Engineering.

IJEECOS provides a publication pathway for:

Extended journal versions of conference papers

Special Issues / Thematic Issues based on conference tracks

Best-paper invitations (priority handling, but full peer review)

Important: Conference acceptance does not guarantee journal acceptance. Every manuscript is evaluated independently through the journal’s review process.

1) Conference Publication Options

A) Extended Journal Version of a Conference Paper

  • Authors may submit a substantially improved version of a previously presented conference paper.
  • Expected improvements (examples):
  • new experiments/simulations or additional datasets
  • deeper analysis, comparison, and discussion
  • improved methodology, validation, error analysis
  • stronger conclusions and practical implications
  • updated references and enhanced presentation
  • Overlap rule
The journal version must be clearly different from the conference version and must cite the original conference paper.

B) Conference Special Issue / Thematic Issue

IJEECOS may publish a Special Issue linked to a conference theme (e.g., Renewable Microgrids, EV Drives & Charging, Advanced Control Applications).

Special issue features

Conference organizers may propose Guest Editors (optional)

All papers follow the same journal policies and peer review

Papers are published only after meeting quality and ethics standards

C) Best Paper / Invited Papers

Conference committees may recommend top papers for priority editorial handling.

✅ Peer review applies normally
❌ Not guaranteed acceptance

2) Conference Paper Eligibility

A conference-linked manuscript is eligible if:

it fits the scope of IJEECOS

it is original and ethically prepared

it includes significant new content compared to the conference paper

it is not under review in another journal

Recommended: at least 30% new content (new results, new analysis, improved validation, major rewriting).

3) Peer Review and Decision

All conference papers follow the standard journal workflow:

Initial Editorial Screening (scope, format, ethics, similarity check)

Handling Editor Assignment

Single-Blind Peer Review (typically 2 independent reviewers)

Decision: Accept / Minor Revision / Major Revision / Reject

Revision Submission with point-by-point response

Final Decision and publication

4) Quality & Ethics Requirements (Mandatory)

All conference submissions must comply with:

no plagiarism / no duplicate publication

proper citation of reused ideas, text, figures, and tables

no fabricated/falsified data

ethical approvals for human/animal studies (if applicable)

clear disclosure of funding and conflict of interest

If any misconduct is suspected, IJEECOS may reject the paper or take action according to the journal ethics policy.

Step 1: Prepare the Extended Journal Manuscript

  • Write the paper in journal format:
